The Stamps of Palestine 2004


During 2004 Palestine issued no stamps. Two blocks, Christmas 2004 and Friends of Peace: Jacques Chirac, bear a 2004 date and were indeed planned to get released in 2004, but received their official issue only in 2005.

Forgeries: A number of FAKE stamps have appeared in the philatelic dealership and also on Ebay during 2004. These commemorate the 85th birthday and the death of Pope John Paul II as well as thematics on chess.
