Ministry of Communications issued new stamps serties on different religious and national themes

Postage stamps are symbols of the state, and the historical record, [...] reflecting and highlighting the most important events first hand to be a witness to the times.
Given these points, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has an interest in the issuing of postage stamps through the formation by the minister Dr. Osama al-Issawi of a committee on postage stamps.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology recently issued three new sets of postage stamps new, these embody the Palestinian people's right to establish their own state, and restore the rights usurped for self-determination and have exposed the crimes of the occupation: stamps on the Palestinian currency at the time of the British Mandate, and on the martyrs of the Buraq uprising, and the Isra & Maraj journey.
To determine the nature and importance of these issues, the philosophy and purpose of the issues, an interview at a meeting in the ministry with Munther Kuraz, the chairman of the Stamp Issue Committee:
Palestinian currency
Kuraz said that this series embodies the currency traded the time of the British Mandate over Palestine, the time period between 1927-1947 and consists of six postage stamps and a block.
He explained that the image of each stamps bears the currency that was in circulation in that era, including 1 Mil, 2 Mils, 5 Mils, 10 Mils. 50 Mils, 100 Mils, the Mil being a part of the Palestinian Pound.
Kuraz said the block bears pictures of paper bills in denominatons of 1, 2, 5, 10, 50, and 100 Pounds, pointing out that coins and paper bills were in three languages ??Arabic, English and Hebrew.
There are FDCs of the block worth 3,000 Fils, and the six stamps (50, 150, 250, 500, 750, and 1,000) Fils.
Buraq Revolution Martyrs
Postage stamps are weapon to prove the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, and also to expose the crimes of the British occupation of Palestine.
Kuraz said this series was designed to commemorate the martyrs of the Buraq revolution, in which the British Mandate implemented the death penalty by hanging the three heroes (Mohammed Jamjoom, Fouad Hijazi, Atta al-Zeer) on 17.06.1930.
The serieas consists of a block worth 3,000 fils, in addition there's a FDCs.
Isra & Maraj Journey
Among topics fpor issuing postage stamps are religious themes, and this series deals with the Isra & Maraj journey, its impact and its place in the hearts of muslims.
Kuraz said that this is first release of its kind in the Arab and Muslim world, where no one has so far been addressing the Isra & Maraj journey through postage stamps.
The series consists of a block worth 3,000 fils, in addition there's a FDCs.
The ministry has started trading and selling these stamps in all post offices of the ministry and in the Philatelic Bureau at the Ministry Office in Gaza.

Palestinian Currency 2012

According to reports, the Hamas-controlled Ministry of Telecom & Information Technology in Gaza has issued on 24.12.2012 a series of stamps under the slogan "Palestinian Currency 1927–1947" containing six stamps at denominations of 50, 150, 250, 500, 750, and 1,000 Fils (print-run: 20,000), and a block of 3,000 Fils (print-run: 3,000).
Sheets consist of 10 stamps each (5x2). The block is sized 124.9x95.6mm (exact size can vary) and unperforated. The design is attributed to MTIT staff and the series is printed locally by Dar al-Arqam Library Printing Shop, Remal.
The issue was originally planned for 11.11.2012 and the nominal issue date is 1.09.2012 (postmark on FDC).

Buraq Revolution Martyrs 2012

According to reports, the Hamas-controlled Ministry of Telecom & Information Technology in Gaza has issued on 24.12.2012 a stamp block under the slogan "Buraq Revolution Martyrs". The block is denominated for 3,000 Fils (print-run: 3,000).
The block is sized 125.2x94.5mm (exact size can vary) and unperforated. The design is attributed to Joha Toon For Cartoon Company of Nasser, Gaza. The block is printed locally by Dar al-Arqam Library Printing Shop, Remal.
The issue was originally planned for 11.11.2012 and the nominal issue date is 17.06.2012 (postmark on FDC).
The 'Buraq Revolution' (ثورة البراق) was an uprising in August 1929, leading to martyrdom of some 120 Palestinians, many hundred more were injured, and the execution on 17.06.1930 of three freedom fighters by the British authorities: Mohammed Jamjoom (Muhammad Jamjoum, Mohamamed Khalil Abu Jamjum), Fouad Hijazi (Fuad Hijazi, Fuad Hassab el Hejazi), and Ata al-Zeer (Atta Ahmed el Zeer, Atta Elzir). The 'Buraq Wall' is also widely known as the 'Wailing Wall'.
